Mojo Cycles has been open in a limited capacity for a couple of weeks now and we have been trying to limit exposure and operate safely. As many of you know we were closed the entire month of April to help slow the spread of the virus. I want to thank everyone for both their patience and efforts to support us during this time. We have decided to modify our operations based on what we have learned so far.
New bike sales.
Cannondale bikes under $1,000 are sold out and we do not yet even know when the new models will arrive! This sounds great and maybe it is for Cannondale and the other bike manufacturers but it really means we cannot sell new bikes this summer. Apparently, the stay at home order equated to buy a bike!
Repairs.
Repair parts are really hard to source right now so even that aspect of the business is challenging now. Parts become available and then sell out again almost immediately. Your repair may take longer to turn around or we may have to use different parts than we normally use.
New Hours.
We are going to close the shop on Tuesdays and we will not be accepting bikes for repairs on Wednesdays. We would like as many people as possible to PICK UP on Wednesdays if you can!
We will accept bikes on Thursday and Fridays for our tune up service and repairs. We would like to keep Saturdays open as much as possible for everyone who cannot get here during the week.
When possible and especially when you are dropping off bikes we would like to only have one customer in the shop at a time. When bringing in a bike, please leave your bike(s) outside and we will come out to evaluate. It is just safer for all of us to be outside and to minimize the number of people in the shop!
Of course, we will do everything we can to help and we really appreciate that everyone is trying to stay safe.
